Thanks for the Ramsey information Greg & Lisa, we should be hopeful that more good birds will be found (not just on the islands please!) as the easterlies are set to continue over the weekend. Hoopoes in a number of places nationally, as well as Pallid Harrier (Norfolk) and a few other goodies. Wader passage worth keeping a close eye on too, we are well overdue a Broad-billed Sandpiper!
No news on the Black Duck since last Saturday - have many people tried and failed since then? Maybe she's on eggs....
I also can't decide whether easterlies makes it more or less likely that we'll finally get an elusive Cattle Egret!
