There have been a number of sightings of little egrets reported recently, but none state whether the birds are adults or juveniles. Have they bred in the county this year?
Juveniles should have paler browny-grey legs with greeny-grey feet, and the skin between the eye and bill is grey rather than yellow. Please take a closer look.
