Martletwy Hobby - during mid afternoon butterfly transect

Despite dull-ish weather the air temperature was high enough to do our usual weekly butterfly transect for BCT. Not many butterflies but a fine hobby was seen pursuing and being pursued by hirundines (swallows and house martins). It dashed eastwards over the trees near Mill bridge at about 1530 hrs.
