Info from Mike Jones for 22 July - I walked from Treffgarne to Newgale today, there is a very large irregation pond between Roach Bridge and Penycwm farm (easiest approach from Penycwm) I disturbed a Water Rail it went rushing back for cover and a Red-legged Partridge was in this location too.
