Picked up on an article in this week's Western Telegraph, which if I read it correctly is great news for birders! A few quotes from the article:
"..new 9 km Castlemartin Range Trail....is the result of a fresh approach to land access by the MOD.."
"The trail allows ramblers, cyclists & horse riders to move around the periphery of the range without interruption, even during firing times."
Perhaps Bob knows more? I'm assuming it basically means there is now a path from Elegug Stacks, west along the coast to Linney Head, and then north to Fresh West through Brownslade Burrows? What potential!! Although to cover it all will be a good few hours, and you'll need to hook up with someone else to leave a car at one end!
