The excitement generated by this potential mega rarity was obviously nil, and I spent a pleasant hour on my own, poodling around trying to relocate it. Out to sea there were gulls of different types all over the place. Probably somewhere amongst them is a mega tick!
Two red throated divers flew past west and 53 golden plover were in the fields just before you get to Strumble...
