I came across this odd Pipit at Freshwater West this morning, feeding on the sandy verges along the roadside between the two car parks (in between the bridge and the small car park in fact). The bird looked superficially like a Richard's Pipit, and although it did not strike me as being particularly big, it could look long-legged and long-tailed, with only very light streaking on the upper breast. Sadly, I couldn't get the call as I was in the car at the time. I have attached a few record shots - all suggestions welcome...
