A walk along the Ritec in St Florence this morning was rewarded with fine views of a Green Sandpiper and back home there are now 2 Bramblings in the garden with the Chaffinches.
At Bosherston 90% of the water is frozen despite all the rain yesterday. All the wildfowl were crowded into the body of ice free water by the reed bed including 8 Goosander. At the 8 Arch Bridge no sign of the Otters but a Kingfisher spent 10 mins or so fishing from a nearby tree over another small ice free patch of water.
