Sunnier conditions at Kilpaison and a little warmer this morning but with a strong south easterly wind still blowing. As the tide dropped Dunlin numbers were down from yesterday with c.150. Also 20+ Ringed Plover, 12 Oystercatchers and 14 Whimbrel.
When I got to Freshwater West the tide was well out and there were 12 Sanderling and 11 Bar Tailed Godwits on the beach. 25 Whimbrel also flew in over the dunes.
