Yesterday from the bridge of the Stena Europe a great Northern Diver close to the lifeboat dock and out in the middle of the harbour a Black Guillemot (in summer plumage). Also an Otter seen by Cliff as he watched the ferry leave. Outside the harbour hundreds of aucks between Fishguard and Strumble. Out in the Irish Sea a few Fulmars but otherwise quiet.
This morning again 100's of aucks near to Fishguard accompanied by 2 Gannets and a lot of gulls - clearly a lot of fish out there. For ceataceans seen see the Whales in Wales blog.
