Spent an hour watching the shrike at Ty Rhyg.
1.20 SN 05088 29791 - shrike chasing 3 bullfinch, singled out the male and pursued it beak to tail through willows and out of sight.
1.40 SN 05189 29873 reappeared - no sign of any prey so looks like bullfinch got away
1.55 SN 05125 29816 in company of GS woodpecker
1.57 SN 05078 29724 across to other side of track
2.00 SN 05132 29610 onto tall tree remains and then shot off after bullfinches again
2.07 SN 05078 29724 back to near 'Paddy's Poles'
2.30 SN 05331 29726 just on edge of treeline
Despite there being plenty of blue tits and long tailed tits in the area, bullfinch seemed its main target.
