Newport Tues am

At the bridge a Kingfisher, a m & f Goosander seemingly fishing as a team, 24 Teal, 7 Little Grebes & part of the Wigeon flock - down to 37 spread along the estuary.
This mild weather regular wader numbers have been low - 6 Redshanks, 8 Dunlin, 14 Ringed Plovers, 10 Oystercatchers, but 9 Turnstones is a lot, there were 68 Curlews between the mud & the roost & 50+ Lapwings dropped in briefly.
Lots of gulls, esp BH, but I didn't spot anything unusual (or ringed).
