Two Short-eared Owls were at St Davids Airfield this am and then Dave A's Water Pipit was on the flooded campsite at Newgale with c 8 Rock Pipits and 2 Meadow Pipits; subtle but pipits are all lovely. Two Crossbills were at Ty Rhyg in the afternoon drizzle and the day finished with 2 Barn Owls here at Sealyham, first for a while but the last couple of days suggest owls resemble London buses, all turning up at once. A bird table note: Kathy watched a Jackdaw killing a Blue Tit on the ground below our bird table, is this common?
