Initially just the 2 Little Egrets at the bridge, then c12 Whimbrel at the Boat Club. On the way back a white gull flew off whilst I was checking the ID book, but relocated above the bridge with a big flock of Herrings & Lesser BBs. A Persil white presumably 1st winter Iceland (no darker markings at all but the bare parts colour was ok & the eye black).
Also 1 Common Sand, & just as I was about to leave the Black T Godwit appeared.
