Spectacular Starling defensive formations again at Marloes Mere this afternoon. Photo show a Merlin attacking from the left (honest!) - I think there were two. Shortly after a Merlin flew over the hide carrying prey. Also at least 2 Sparrowhawks around.
A flock of 20 or so Snipe were flying around - perhaps put up by the Raptors. Click photos for larger image.
