Under the hedge at the top of our lane on the main Fishguard to Newport road - a dead Water Rail. Seemed to have a broken neck, so I guess hit by a car.
And there is indeed an influx of Song Thrushes. Took the hint from Bob & Annie & spent a very pleasant morning dog walking SM93Z. Song thrushes in most fields - 36 counted vs 8 Blackbirds (& 1 Redwing).
