Info Post

At Kilpaison this morning a few returning waders - 4 Dunlin, 2 Ringed Plover and 1 Redshank. Not quite enough to get the pulses racing but a start at least. Also there 17 Black-headed Gulls, no juveniles amongst them.
Round at Angle there were 5 Curlew, 1 Whimbrel and 2 Oystercatchers on the shingle spit in the harbour. Also there c.40 BH Gulls (again no juveniles) and 7 Med Gulls all adults starting to lose their black hoods apart from one 2nd summer bird. Amongst the Meds a bird with a white ring on the left leg - 3J23.
