Info Post
Noted Wendy's comments about possible hybrid wigeon type. I wonder if it looked like a couple of the ones (near top centre and near bottom just right of centre) in this rather poor digi-pic of part of a large flock I photographed recently. Adult male Eurasian wigeon in breeding plumage can often show a green streak behind the eye - though it can be easily missed in some light conditions. This feature can be quite broad and extensive in some birds, yet in others it can be quite narrow. Did your Teifi bird look anything like this? If so, then maybe it is a full breeding plumage adult male Eurasian Wigeon.
