Should have done this on Monday

On 1st December in the field anbove Sandy Haven Chapel there were lots of cattle as usual and four egrets. It was raining hard, blowing hard and miserable but I still got out of the car and climbed the gate and tried to get close but got chased by the cows and couldn't get close enough to the birds to see them clearly . So I went to the top of the field along a very muddy lane and stood on top of the hedge in the now pxxxxxg rain but the reward was 3 Little's and one Cattle Egret - so its still around.
Does anyone else think there are loads more starlings around this year than in recent years???
