Angle - Rain Stopped Play
Info Post
Arrived at Kilpaison at 2:30 this afternoon - 2 hours before high tide with plenty of waders on the beach. As I stepped out of the car the first drops of rain fell but I managed to shoot off a few shots of Sanderling which were feeding high up on the beach near the old Pumping Station. Then the rain really set in but not before a quick scan showed c.30 Sanderling, 11 Turnstone, 8 Knot, 4 Redshank and "lots" of Dunlin and Ringed Plovers. So I headed for home, a couple of miles back inland it was dry! Don't you just love this "summer"!
