Info Post
At Slebech this evening about 5000 starlings passed overhead in seven different groups, but none stopped. They all headed approx SSE between 4:15 and 4:35. Not sure where they were roosting but if they kept going in the same direction they would get to Tenby area. In the mornings at Narberth they are all heading north so it seems likely that the starlings in this part of pembs don't use the Dudwell site. A few years ago there was a massive roost in reeds on Pendine range which persisted right through to March, but this site seems too far east for the birds seen tonight. Penally marshes maybe?
