On the junction by Bosherston and Stackpole early morning this Buzzard making the most of a Badger road kill made a photo opportunity too good to miss. Perhaps even the Buzzards are struggling in this hard weather as it was very much loathe to leave the carcase as cars passed just feet away.
At Bosherston a surprise was an Otter in the boat house which ran off just as I entered! More water frozen now but still large clear areas. 18 Little Grebes the best of the water birds whilst in a sunny patch in the woods a party of a dozen Long Tailed Tits was busy feeding.
On Castlemartin Corse the frozen water and ground has pushed most of the Lapwings and wildfowl away though there are plenty of Lapwing scattered around in surrounding fields. I couldn't see the Crane from a quick look from both sides of the Corse.
