Castlemartin Corse

A superb adult male Hen Harrier at Castlemartin Corse this morning. Also 2 Sparrowhawks, a Kestrel, 600+ Lapwing, 18 Curlew, 20 Snipe flying over the reeds and a few Wigeon, Teal & Shoveller on the flooded area by the reeds. In the Dunes behind Freshwater West 10 Chough and on the Bridle Path behind the car park a big flock of finches - 200+ Greenfinch, 150+ Linnets, 100+ Chaffinch and a few Goldfinch. Also several thousand Starlings in the area and a hundred or more Wood Pigeons. Rich C & Morris North
