A beautiful morning on the Preselis today. Had a walk around Pantmaenog in the hope of seeing the "strikingly white" Redpoll seen by Brian last week, no joy but did see 4 Redpolls in flight only. Also there 2 Red Kites, a Jay, 6 Reed Buntings, 7 Meadow Pipits and a few Goldcrests and Long-tailed Tits.
Across the road at Rosebush Reservoir a single drake Pochard, along with 5 Goldeneye, 14 Tufted Duck and a handful of Teal and Mallard.
Finally a good gathering of gulls at Withybush Airfield on the way home, but nothing unusual amongst them (mostly 1stW Herring Gulls).
