News from Dave Boyle on Skomer - Just to let people know its pretty stunning over here at the moment - first Puffin chicks yesterday, highest numbers ever counted in recent times this spring (peak count 17,000, usually only 10,000ish), Guillemot & Razorbill chicks due this week and really good year for Short-eared Owls, its impossible to miss them at the moment and the first broods are starting to fledge.
