A quick foray to Kilpaison this morning after the rain - more in hope than expectation. Better than I thought, however, with 17 Dunlin and 4 Ringed Plover - perhaps a sign that the wader passage is picking up as we head towards August. The birds were rather flighty but this one posed long enough for a shot. Around 25% of the Dunlin were juvs.
