Had a quick walk along the parrog at wdig & expected just the usual stuff in the recent low numbers , it turned out i was not to be far off my estimation . Only 11 gulls , but 1 was an Adult Med. so things were looking up then as i came back to the steps by the stream a quick glance into the wader roost corner at the far right hand end produced the usual Oystercatchers , 3 Ringed Plover , 4 Dunlin & no Barwit but a roosting GREY PLOVER , only my second ever at the Flagpoles since being in Fishguard. A quick look at the records shows Feb. to be the best month for them in Pembs. I'm just glad i got one as they can be difficult up here in the North.
