Info Post

A nice day out with Paul G, though birds generally hard to come by:
Broad Haven/Haroldston: total of 76 Common Scoter. A few Goldcrest and mixed tits in the valley behind the caravan park.
St. Bride's: Chiffchaff 1, Coal Tit 1, few mixed tits, Siskin over, and this very tame Kestrel that was also seen perched on gravestones in the churchyard!
Dale: v. quiet
Dale Fort: Blackcap 3, Coal Tit 2
Dale Airfield: 11 Lapland Buntings (3 flew over & landed, eventually giving excellent views as they crept mouse like through the long grass to the W of the main runway triangle, and another 8 flew over, and these were joined by one of the original 3 but we didn't see them land)
Gann: Red-breasted Merganser (female), Wigeon 1, Grey Plover 1, Knot 1, Redshank 22, Dunlin 2, Ringed Plover 15, Turnstone 20, Teal 22, Med Gull 4 (3 ads, 1 1stW), Little Egret 9
