Info Post
I popped in to Canaston Woods this morning at about 0830 and was nearly deafened by the bird song! It really was stunning: a good mix of tits, thrushes, finches and warblers. About 400 yards from the car park I first heard and then watched three Wood Warblers all displaying and marking out their (relatively small) territories. An utterly wonderful sound and sight: it reminded me what lovely birds these are, and what a great experience a wood on a May morning can be.
