Last night: Lots of Redpoll buzzing around. A male kestrel sat on treetop perch surveying the area. Pair of Mistle thrush visiting nest site. Robin carrying food. Spotted-flycatchers but no sign of the Wood warbler who was singing a week ago, perhaps he's moved on. Sounded like a couple of Water rails squealing by the pond. 3 canada geese flying over.
