At Kilpaison between 10:00 and 11:30 14 Brents came down to the water edge and, as the tide dropped further, a few waders came in -c.20 Bar Tailed Godwit, 4 Knot, 25 Dunlin, 10 Ringed Plover, 30 Oystercatchers, and 20 Golden Plover flew past. Also several hundred Wigeon on the water and 5 Great Crested Grebes further out in the bay.
At Angle, late morning, 2 juvenile Great Northern Divers in the harbour. They spent some time close in near the shingle spit and gradually drifted out as the tide dropped. Each was seen to catch a crab as well as small fish. Also there 3 pale bellied Brents, 15 Turnstone, 8 Ringed Plover and 12 Redshank. Earlier Paul and Wendy had seen 3 Med Gulls.
