Info Post
Annie and I having been looking at the tetrad coverage so far for the winter Atlas. After two winters, coverage has been excellent but there are still around 58 tetrads out of nearly 500 that so far have had no winter "roving-records". These include some Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion tetrads where we have admin responsibility for the larger 10 km squares in which they lie. Records collected from these areas will also go to respective County Recorders for these Counties.

Click on this image to see a list of tetrads that don't have any records yet.

There are other tetrads that could do with more visits to boost species numbers but if you visit any of the ones listed left, any time in the next few winter months, this will add valuable new records to the Atlas. All the records collected will also form an important component of a local winter birds atlas at the end of the four year project. Some coastal ones only contain small portions of land but they all count!
