Info Post
On Thursday, 31st December, I saw a male hen harrier briefly near Carnhedryn, on the edge of Tretio Moor. Shortly afterwards, five whooper swans – an adult and four immature – flew in and settled in a field – grid ref. 796 279, near Carnhedryn. The swans were at the far side of the field and could not be seen from the field boundary. I saw them by looking across the neighbouring field and through a gateway. The five swans were still present on the 1st of January.

Also on the 31st December, I saw two female black redstarts on the coast. One of these was at Aber-pwll, near Pwll-caerog and the second was on the coastal path near Abereiddy.
