Teifi - Oystercatchers ....

Yesterday evening, the Teifi Oystercatcher passage peaked (likely) at 165 birds opposite the Quay.
This compares to 24 July 2011 with 200, and 22 July 2010 with a massive 350+, of which 100+ that evening flew high up the valley, presumably overland to the estuarine expanses off the south Wales coast.

14 Common Sandpipers at Jewsons  last night too.
1 Black-tailed Godwit around the river on the reserve.
