Info Post

Spent the day on Skomer which seemed strangely quiet with all the seabirds departed. Nevertheless a good day with a couple of sightings of the Marsh Harrier which has been commuting between the island and Marloes. Also a Peregrine and 2 Kestrels. Nothing seen in the way of migrants. Just out to sea off North Haven there were 3 Porpoises showing well below a group of a dozen or so Gannets with a further Porpoise near the Garland Stone.
Whilst waiting for the boat out to Skomer this juvenile Ringed Plover provided a nice photo opportunity as it was totally oblivious to people on the beach at Martin's Haven.
