Dale airfield

Dale airfield - 2-3 chiffchaffs on road up, airfield pretty quiet - 6 wheatears, single pied wagtail, 2 chough, small flock of starling, a few meadow pipits and a solitary lapwing on eastern runway. Lots of cranefly.

Saturday circuit of Kete-St Anns-Watwick area - female kestrel, 2 chough, small groups of pied/white wagtails in amongst the various herds of cows, couple of chiffchaffs above Watwick, 13 wheatear and 7 stonechat and a fox stalking a pheasant (pheasant shot-up and sat on top of hedge sqwauking).
