Info Post
spent the last 2 days putting up Kestrel nestboxes in Ty Rhyg, Pant Maenog and Coed Glynaeron. Interestingly only one party of Crossbills was encountered during the time, a flock of 9 in Glynaeron. Compensation was had with cracking views of the Shrike in Ty Rhyg which landed right next to the car. Other birds of note were a merlin, 2 red kites, 16 Redpolls (Ty Rhyg), 35 Siskins, 70 Chaffinches, 4 Goldfinches and 3 Woodcock (Glynaeron).
