The Great Grey Shrike showed well at Ty Rhug today at around 4.30pm, at one point on a dead branch with a Great Spooted Woodpecker - what a pic that would have made!
Also an excellent roost at Llys-y-fran: adult Ring-billed Gull, juv/1stW Iceland Gull, and a county record 5 Yellow-legged Gulls (3 ads, 4thW, 2ndW). Paul had also seen the Black-throated Diver & the Black-necked Grebe.
