At Kilpaison this morning I couldn't find the Water Pipit. There were, however, plenty of other birds - c.200 Dunlin, 1 Sanderling, 12 Knot, 1 Bar Tailed Godwit, 20 Oystercatchers and several hundred Wigeon. In nearby fields there was a scattering of Lapwings with a few Golden Plover mixed in with them.
