Info Post
Visited Monkstone Point today - THE most reliable site for Purple Sandpipers in the county and the site where I found my first ever. Guess what - they were there! Circa 15 Purple Sands, 20+ Turnstone and 1 Knot. (If you are tempted then park at Trevayne and follow the path to the beach - but beware! This is one of the highest cliffs in the county and you will have to walk 192 steps back up from the beach!)

At Carew this afternoon no sign of Red Necked Grebe.
