Disappointed not to connect with the RN Grebe at Carew this pm. However, a flyover Peregrine, 30 Redwings, a Little Egret, 4 Redshanks, a Shelduck and a Stonechat made it worthwhile braving the cold there! In a field near Manorbier there was a flock of c30 Fieldfares, a snipe and a Buzzard close up. There were also small flocks of Lapwings at several locations. Happy new year to everybody!
