At Kilpaison 06:50 - 10:00 as the tide rose a nice selection of waders though fewer than on Thursday. Dunlin 28, Ringed Plover 5, Curlew Sandpiper 2, Knot 7, Bar Tailed Godwit 8, Black Tailed Godwit 1. With just a thin strip of sand left at high tide the small waders were incredibly confiding, feeding on the waters edge to within a few feet.
Also in the bay 3 Manx Shearwaters one of which was pounced upon and drowned by a Great Black Backed Gull.
