What a lovely day!.
At the bridge just c 300 Canadas with no followers.Also 12 Wigeon, 9 Teal, 6 Herons & a Kingfisher.
On the Long St mud a Bar T Godwit & a Grey Plover as well as Herring Gull Blue BHS which was ringed at a Gloucester landfill site in Jan 07 & was seen many times at Newport between Oct 08 & Jan 10.
At the Boat Club 12 Ringed Plover, 6 Dunlin, a Knot, a Sanderling & 4 Wheatears.
Round & about 3 Little Egrets, 4 Oystercatchers & 3 Curlews.
