Info Post
The ever present cuckoo calling above quarries. 2 Tree pipits singing. Grey wagtails carrying food at two separate nest sites. White wagtail. Pair of Tree creeper. 2 red kites over head. Kestrel hunting (another at Ty Rhyg from gate and a third near Tufton Arms on way home). Noticed a few fingerling trout rising in one of the small pools and 6 or so Broad bodied chasers.
