Juvenile hen harrier has been here for past 5 days (thanks to Ann Humble for letting me know when it was on its way across from the mainland!). 2 merlins about for a while now, good numbers of buzzards (up to 8). Single purple sandpiper on the roost yesterday (thanks for Ffion Rees for the record from her boat)
3 blackcaps today were our first of the year. Sprinkling of both chiffchaffs and willow warblers the last couple of days.
20+ wheatear on the island yesterday. Looking out for the purple heron now!
