Teifi marshes -18:00;-
c30 Sand Martins around the marsh for the evening, with c20 wagtails roosting too.
Saturday evening;-
1 male Merlin eating a Pied Wagtail whilst perched in front of Creek Hide.
1 Jack Snipe flushed from around Mallard pond. 4 Black-tailed Godwits still on the river.
Boncath;-
Brambling still in the garden.
Ffynone;-
More on this new woodland management scheme another day from Wendy, but on two visits now to new parts of the woodland, and Willow Tits discovered at 2 sites. 1 pair were excavating their own nest cavity this morning.... quite a special sight.
