Info Post
As other places once the rain stopped the birds came out! Never seen so many wheatears here. Our 3 lambing fields alone had 300 in them so there must have easily been 500+ in total on the island (can't beat 14 on one boulder though Byron!)

Other birds this afternoon were willow warbler (100+), blackcap (30), grasshopper warbler (1), chiffchaff (1), cuckoo (1), swift (2), whitethroat (3 - first of year), sedge warbler (2 - first of year), redstart (female), whinchat (cracking male), tree pipt (1). Also small hirundine movement including a few sand and house martin.
