Admiring the song flight of a Greenfinch at Picton Ferry today, led to the thought that I could think of six localities where they bred in recent years but could not be found this year. One of the sites was my garden. Not at all a scientific survey but if Greenfinches have decreased due to Trichomoniasis in anything like this proportion they are in a bad way. Please tell me that I have just been unlucky.
