1 Storm Petrel flying past us on way to Skokholm at 9am this morning. Above a photo of the main pond on the island, an amazing amount of water present across the island...! What will passage migrants think ?
The visit today, 2 plumbers, 1 engineer, 1 film cameraman, 3 ringers and 2 volunteer helpers. The tasks to remove generators that powered the Lighthouse light, plumbing work, colour-ring 60 Puffins for ongoing EGI Puffin research, and some filming for a 6 part TV series on Skokholm.

No other birds of note seen, except the resident breeders.
Renate with 2 of the 5 big lumps of generator moved from 1 end of the island to the other !
