The Canadas were in fine fettle. I sort of counted 1000, then another 200 flew in. The only followers were a Greylag & 2 ?Greylag/Canada crosses.Swimming calmly amongst them were 5 Teal.
I couldn't find any small waders, but most unusually a flock of c25 Golden Plovers whizzed around but did not land.
At the bridge 4 Med gulls, 3 1st year in the full range of transitional plumage, & an adult.
